  • Establish a monthly calendar with at least eight programs a day that provide socialization opportunities, fitness and wellness activities, educational and recreational programs, as well as spiritual life support based on the needs and preferences of 32 residents.
  • Create a monthly newsletter that highlights current and future events in the community and communicates useful information to residents and their families.
  • Manage the company Facebook page with weekly videos and pictures of the programs offered day to day.
  • Organize multiple fundraisers throughout the year for the Alzheimer's Association such as car shows, silent auctions, carnivals, bake sales, chili cook-offs, community yard sales, ice cream socials, and employee spirit days.
  • Recruit 100 plus volunteers for successful programs such as our Therapy dog visits, Toy's for God's Kids, Men's Club, Reading Circle, Guest Speakers, Live music of all kinds, Intergenerational Programs, Quilt Shows and Storytelling.
  • Supervise and train the activity program staff in effective and successful programming.
  • Customize a successful monthly program staying within the boundaries of a small yearly budget of $2,500.
  • Coach and motivate our team of 50 plus employees to join our team in the fight to end Alzheimer's Disease.
