Overview

The Regional Director is responsible for the overall operational and financial aspects of an assigned portfolio of properties. This position is responsible for ensuring optimum performance results are achieved through the successful implementation of comprehensive programs, initiatives, and strategies throughout the portfolio.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Regional Property Manager is responsible for providing strategic leadership and overseeing the successful day-to-day financial, administrative and maintenance operations of a portfolio of properties.

  • Reviews property performance and evaluates marketing, pricing, rent and financial strategies to both understand and predict trends and develop appropriate plans.
  • Assists property and maintenance managers with employee and resident conflict resolution. Handle all escalated service issues within the assigned portfolio
  • Ensures compliance with business reports, plans, and budgets.
  • Reviews and approves monthly commissions.
  • Communicate budgetary hits and misses in advance with ownership to avoid unwanted surprised and to highlight successes.
  • Assists property and maintenance managers with payroll, accounting, legal, safety standards and risk management issues to ensure compliance
  • Shop competition and assist in implementing property-specific marketing plans
  • Supervises the preparation of annual budgets and analyzes previous and projected results to make recommendations and ultimately approve.
  • Provide updates to Senior Management on all operational issues
  • Complies with all applicable health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws.

  • Minimum seven (7) year’s progressive experience within the Multifamily Property Management industry.
  • No less than five (5) years’ experience in a senior-level leadership role involving multi-site management.
