In 2015, I was selected (along with 75 others from a group of 16,000) to participate as the Diversity & Inclusion Ambassador for my location in Savannah, GA. During this time I implemented an action plan to increase the opportunity for personal growth for co-workers to participate in Diversity & Inclusion modules. These modules were facilitated by myself with support coming from matrix partners in other locations. During this time, I was the main driver of driving change within the location to increase the feeling of inclusion for the site. This included promoting, facilitating, and follow-up actions from site-wide townhalls, monthly cultural celebrations, continued education opportunities, and upskilling and reskilling opportunities.
