As the first Peer Support Specialist to ever be contracted with the King County Drug Diversion Court, I created and built the KC Drug Court Peer Support program.

  • Provided 1:1 peer support to drug court participants based on my lived experience with the drug court program.
  • Created the Recovery Alumni Program.
  • Trained graduates to become certified CCAR Recovery Coaches for the Drug Court program.
  • Managed Drug Court State Opioid Program which consisted of over 30 participants and 10 Recovery Coaches.
  • Complete State Opioid Program GPRA intakes and match participants with Recovery Coaches per program guidelines.
  • Maintained State Opioid Program files with progress notes, GPRA intakes, monthly vouchers, etc.
  • As required by the state of Washington.
  • Provide support and guidance to 10 Recovery Coaches by meeting monthly, check-ins and community building activities.
  • Use Smartsheet and Salesforce software for data tracking of coaches and participant meeting sessions and payroll.
  • Weekly outreach with new Drug Court participants at Orientation & Intake to introduce SOR program and Peer Support Services.
  • Provide outreach and resources to participants at Regional Justice Center.
