Applying for the job as a CPS Investigation Worker Trainee, I feel I have the communication skills, trainings, and years of experience in different settings to be successful. I also am not opposed to furthering my knowledge in this field by attending workshops/trainings. Working in a foster home and in an educational setting has provided me with the tools to recognize different types of disabilities and abuse. Attending training of fetal alcohol syndrome, down-syndrome, at-risk, autistic, non-verbal are beneficial when working with children. I understand the duties include maintaining records, planning case actions and supporting court actions that I will be dedicated to maintaining safety and improving care for children through investigations and family improvement plans. I am prepared to take on a challenging position. I also understand the need to maintain calm and have a composed demeanor in stressful situations of professionalism.
