I am a hard working, caring, educated, and compassionate individual with many skills that would be acceptable for many job titles. Although my degree is in occupational therapy, I have experience in many ares of life that would benefit the needs of employment in many different areas. I am a single parent who has worked hard to care for my children in good, bad and hard times. I am a daughter who has cared for my elderly father including medication management, housekeeping, keeping up with doctor appointments and managing healthcare for different medical diagnoses, fall recovery, cooking, managing bills and money management, and last but not limited to, dementia type memory deficits. In my line of work, I have been responsible for patient and caretaker education on ongoing strengthening programs, educating and modifying homes for safe return, identifying the needs of patients and applying skills toward recovery and/or maintenance programs to prevent further deficits, required documentation for physicians and insurance, and last but not limited to, contracture management. I have had longevity with jobs in the past and take my work seriously. I feel I am an asset to employers because of my hard work and dedication. Although my degree is in occupational therapy, I am willing to learn new skills and work hard to strive to make me suitable for any position I am qualified for. I would greatly appreciate the opprtunity for this position.
