Serve as site COR for Med-Surg prime vendor as well as other medical supply contracts.Maintain quarterly performance reports for delivery of supplies. Purchase supplies and services in excess of $5.1 million dollars with the government purchase card via a $3,000 warrant level. Appointed as a delegated ordering officer for supplies in excess of Simplified Acquisition Procedures levels. Act as lead Inventory Management Specialist for the purpose of executive meetings and report summations. Initiates and provides training to material management staff on an ongoing basis. Conducts and supervises Quarterly Wall to Wall Inventory counts of medical supplies. Stocks and fully rotates medical supplies using LIFO and FIFO methods to organize Inventory. Analyzes and evaluate current supply trends and reports to higher authorities. Serves as a technical adviser and consultant in supply matters to all levels of management. Assist new acquisition staff in effective and economical inventory management activities. Tracks financial and contract reconciliation data and activities to prepare reports. Plans for the material distribution system on a both a quantitative and monetary basis. Co-manage the distribution or redistribution of stock within the supply system for a primary inventory point as well as 80 secondary points. Frequently manage items with difficult supply and demand patterns related to changes in end-use applications. Performs special studies relating to receipt, issue, storage, and control of stock. Daily duties to establish and revise reorder frequencies while establishing product forecast reports. Responsible for the collection, reviews, evaluation and interpretation of supply data. Presents findings, options and recommendations via briefings, staff reports, project papers, etc. Develops measurement criteria, procedures and instruments to meet needs of assigned study. Develops techniques and methods for process improvement; analyzes and advises on proposed reorganizations or realignment of functions. Establishes protocols for incoming data, organizes computerized data sets, and retrieves computerized data.
