Walmart Co-Store Manager – Super Technology Store

Selected to relocate to one of four Walmart Super Technology Stores in the company. This 177,000 square-foot facility was selected as the testing ground for the latest technological innovations in the company’s history. Due to my background and experience in managing multiple operations and areas I was chosen to lead programs in combination with four independent autonomous systems the company was employing.

  • Program lead to test a new initiative to drive instock in grocery utilizing On Shelf Customer Availability Lost Sales Value (OSCA LSV). This program utilizes logarithmic data to determine which products customers buy during a set time period over the course of the fiscal year
  • Lead Manager over all backroom operations utilizing an autonomous unloader that reduced the number of associates required to unload trucks from 18 associates to 5.
  • Trainer for all new and experienced department managers on the use of multiple applications using advanced Zebra Technologies handheld devices
  • Chosen to test new autonomous delivery system (Auto D) designed by the Brain Corporation. System is currently in only three stores in the world. Worked with robotics and system engineers to highlight inefficiencies within a populated retail environment
  • Lead manager over all grocery, fresh and consumable departments delivering $60 million in sales

Walmart Store Manager

Selected as Store Manager of a 207,000 square foot profitable, 24-hour Walmart Supercenter with $114M in annual sales, including $6M in online sales, while managing 12 salaried managers leading 455 total supervisors, department managers and hourly associates.
