I love to support local organizations in my community two of which are really close to my heart. One that I have participated and fundraised for in the last couple of years is Autism Speaks. They have an annual walk to increase understanding and acceptance of people with autism and their families in our community. I have found this experience a great example of people of all ages coming together to up lift and support those who can not. Peggy Adams is another organization. It is a non profit animal rescue shelter located in West Palm Beach. I am ecstatic to say I have volunteered and even adopted from Peggy Adams. All this to say these outside activities I feel have help me communicate and empathize with every walk of life I encounter. My approach to life is to be empathetic in any setting or situation.
