Avalon Health Care Group Federal Way, WA,
  • While working as an instructor for Special Abilities of North Texas, I played numerous roles in a fast paced environment. I was given a classroom to teach about 15 clients who suffered from mental and physical disabilities. My previous clients never let their disabilities hinder them from yearning to digest facts about the world or just simply learning new things about themselves. A few things i was in charge of were:
  • Maintaining clean personal areas and preparing healthy meals to support client nutritional needs.
  • Supported clients with mental support and physical activities to accomplish quality of life and sustain needs.
  • Provided safe mobility support to help patients move around personal and public spaces.

On May 6 of 2020, I enrolled in college through Career Step. I am currently undertaking the course of Dental Assisting. It has been one of the best decisions I have made during this difficult time of year. So far, it has taught me to be patient with doing course work and certain aspects of my life. In my humble opinion, my growth has been quite impeccable. Since this Dental Assisting program is a four month course, I aspire to finish by September and receive my certification of completion as well.
