Provide the following services in support of field activities by: Determining benefits according to service date by calculating Service Computation Dates (SCD), addressing QC and PPRT tickets, establishing Official Personnel Files (OPF), and annotating certificates to show that action has been taken and requirements are met. Compile and maintain the information needed to run these reports in systems such as Portal and Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) efficiently. Initiated contact with Civilian Personnel Advisory Center (CPAC) personnel, team members, and team leaders as soon as discrepancies were discovered to ensure that tasks were completed timely and accurately the first time, so that workload was preserved to a minimum and up to date, Respond to CPAC Managers for prompt resolutions to predicaments that involved employees' pay, data, and status within DCPDS, Portal, and the Defense Civilian Payroll System (DCPS) to ensured good customer service. Plan and organize work. Complete missing items such as: end dates for "Temporary not to exceed" actions, spell check on all actions and resolved discrepancies to maintain the integrity of the organization. Monitor QC/PPRT inquiries diligently on a daily basis so that resolutions were made without delay by means of viable resources, to include various manuals and websites. Examine the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) compensation charts to verify pay issues that may have shown inconsistencies , and submit REMEDY inquiries to Defense Finance & Accounting System (DFAS) for database accuracy to have ensured to the best of my ability, that employee were paid timely and accurately. Merge OPF's upon receipt to, and departure of, CPOC so that employee records were in accordance with the Guide to Personnel Recordkeeping. Employee automated systems such as DCPDS, Portal and DCPS , to track requests and notifications of personnel actions. Recognize Solutions. Utilize the Army database to enter employee appraisals and awards. supplemental data for completion of forms, as well as any other duties as assigned. Gather pertinent data. Assist in training new HR Assistants in processing actions and volunteer to perform other CPAC's duties so that the team does not fall behind in workload. Help to prioritize work load.

Perform clerical duties such as: typing and addressing; letters, memorandums, and reports for submission to necessary recipients using word processing software.

Process benefit packets for submittal to DFAS, including FERS, FEGLI, FEHB, and other insurance benefits documents.

Prepare separation packets for those employees resigning, terminating, or being removed from organization.

Maintain rapport with CPAC via telephone and email.

Perform daily duties employing the following automated systems: Oracle, DCPDS, DCPS; retrieve and research data from various sources, both manual and electronic using GPPA and job aids, for use in answering questions and/or processing cancellations/corrections; and post to personal data records information extracted from personal actions. Establish and maintain daily suspense files for substantiating entries.
