Finish Carpenter Resume Example

I have been doing carpentry since I was fifteen years old, but went full time after deciding I did not want to rack up a bunch of student loan debt and began working in the family business with my father at eighteen. I have always strived to be a great carpenter and to leave customers with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Throughout the years I've always gotten promoted with the owners knowing the diligence and craftsmanship I put forth. I learned the most amount of finish carpentry when I worked at Timber Ridge Log Home, it showed me the true meaning of custom woodworking and I fell in love with it. I became a lead trim carpenter my third year working at Timber Ridge. Working at Contour Construction has always been a challenge because I wasn't able to strictly do woodworking or cabinetry, but i always kept of open-mind and stayed positive to keep the morale of my fellow co-workers up. I strive to come in everyday with a positive attitude and a hardworking demeanor. I always try to keep a good basis with the customers no matter how big or small the job or clients work may be. I consider myself to be a great worker and always striving to better myself every day.
