Summary

I graduated from Thomas Wootton High School in Rockville, Maryland in May of 2012. I currently attend Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina.

When I was sixteen I started working for the Montgomery County Recreation Department. I worked as a Camp Counselor until I was promoted to Assistant Director last summer. This job taught me the importance of communication, organization and team work. When I was given the opportunity to lead last summer I was able to come up with different activities for the campers to participate in. This position also gave me the opportunity to develop relationships with the parents of my campers and help them feel comfortable sending their children to camp.

I have also worked at Gaithersburg Presbyterian Preschool and Kindergarten in Gaithersburg, Maryland. I worked as a substitute teacher, this job gave me more experience in planning activities and working in very spontaneous situations.

I have also worked as a Sales Associate at Francesca's in Bethesda, Maryland. I worked there as a seasonal employee while I was home for winter break. I was asked back the following year to work as the stores seasonal employee, I was also asked back the following summer where I worked as a sales associate. This job was very different than the other positions I have held. I worked very closely with our store manager, completing inventory, organizing the store, and working with customers.
