I grew up in Rexburg, Idaho. I currently live in Fremont County. I have been very blessed with a wife and 5 children. I am an active member of the LDS church and have had many chances for service. Growing up we had a 480 acre family farm in Wilford. On that farm, was where I learned problem solving and self management. I was taught about raising crops and animals and the importance of being punctual and dependable. I still own a portion of that farm which I lease to a local farmer. I left farming and entered the construction field about 20 years ago. Construction has taught me many other skills which I believe are beneficial to this job. I had the opportunity to operate my own construction company which opened the doors to an abundance of learning. I am currently working in Jackson Hole. Communication and problem solving are just a couple of skills that I learned and are used daily in construction and are very valuable in any work environment. I believe that I am competent, teachable and willing to learn. I also believe that I would be a great addition to the Fremont-Madison Irrigation District office.
