Sigma Kappa Delta Co-Advisor, Illinois Central College (February 2019-present). As advisor of this English honors organization at a two-year college, I help plan and create professional development and service opportunities for student members.

Strategic Planning TeamCompletion, Illinois Central College (February 2019-present). As an active member of this team, we work on academic advising re-design. This eases the transition into college. More recently, our team's efforts have been focused on helping students navigate academic planning amid COVID restrictions. This includes Advising office location, redesign of registration forms, and scheduling advisement appointments.

The Studio (The Writing Lab): Faculty Consultant (Spring 2014-Present): In this role, I mentor students with writing challenges. To do this, I help them (who often come from different cultures) understand not only grammatical and spelling errors, but also higher order concerns (sentence structure, paragraph order, etc).

Bridge Program (June 2014). Here, I gave a presentation, about successful note-taking skills.

Online Teaching Certificate: Quality Matters (July 2021): Through this training, I earned my online teaching certificate.
