Additional Information

Prior to my educational career, I worked in Governor Romer's press office. I wrote, staffed events, and served as the primary liaison to in-house and external press. My writing duties consisted of all forms of communication, including community or personal correspondence, press releases, op-ed pieces and speeches. I staffed the governor on numerous outings and events. During these occasions, I coordinated schedules and times to optimize the governor's presence, provided additional information regarding particular individuals, programs or events, managed participants or guests to ensure positive interactions, supported the governor as necessary and contributed feedback as requested. As the primary liaison to the in-house and external press, I spoke, delivered, answered questions, or elaborated on particular points of interest either through daily releases or face to face. In addition to my press office duties, I assisted in recording and editing interviews, internal office communication and campaign strategies. I also served on Governor Romer's re-election campaign staff.
