Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network – Pittsburgh, PA
Provide technical assistance and training to educational professionals in school districts, intermediate units, approved private schools, and parents. Trainings and content area prioritizations are directed through the Department of Education, Bureau of Special Education. I specifically work in the initiative areas of Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis Interventions, Behavior, Transition, and Family Partnering/Engagement. Trainings and professional development sessions have been delivered in these content areas at the national and state level. Group compositions have included national conference attendees and small group classroom based consultations. On-site guided practice and facilitation have included the following presentation topics: School-wide Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports, Functional Based Assessments, Applied Behavior Analysis, Intensive Teaching Protocols and Error Corrections, Classroom Management Strategies, and Behavioral Coaching.
Clinical Director and Lead Behavior Analyst, 05/1996 to 08/2006
NHS Human Services – Pittsburgh, PA

Responsibilities include overseeing a territory of 23 counties in the central and western region of PA and Ohio. Duties include conducting Functional Assessments on a client basis of more than 2500 individuals diagnosed with a behavioral and/or autism related disability. Assessments included conducting a gap-analysis of individual strengths and needs and determining evidenced-based applied behavior analytic interventions to promote programmatic success and social-emotional independence in all applicable settings. Data analysis and intervention fidelity/efficacy checks were conducted weekly for each engaged client. Additional duties included staff training, mandated reporting, crisis management leadership, and lead staff supervisor.
