Track, create, modify and delete all allocated positions within the county per Board and County Administrator direction; provide network access and modifications to HRMS, Discoverer, EZ eP and Self-Service; run routine reports to track vacancy and recruitment data along with tracking positions being dual filled or underfilled; review and approve timesheets in TimeSaver for the HR Department; act as ISD liaison and assist employees with access and equipment issues along with requesting updates and edits to current access; create and maintain reports used in the yearly budget book and budget process; test and audit new modules within HRMS including personal qualifications and forecasting and budgeting;.
Create recruitments; review and score applications; maintain hiring lists; process recruitment packets; run background checks, schedule drug and TB testing for applicants; process new hire, termination and change paperwork for employees; correspond with other state agencies regarding retirement and insurance benefits for employees; assist employees with the State's grievance procedure and create responses for the employer; assist employees with FMLA and Workers' Compensation, including modified duty agreements; process payroll paperwork; other special projects as assigned.
Assist with Worker's Compensation and FMLA forms; help maintain Administrative Regulations for department; order supplies and FedEx materials; maintain calendars for conference rooms; faxing, filing and helping with copies; create spreadsheets, letters and reports; update and edit logs and other duties as assigned.
