As a Cruise Staff I was responsible for serving as an effective leader in any of the assigned Cruise Programs activities, ensuring that each event takes place safely and promptly as scheduled. I was also in charge of the training of new Cruise Programs team members, responsible for ordering, organizing and maintaining inventories and safe storage of all supplies, equipment, gifts & prizes. Problem solving and conflict resolution for our guests were a direct responsibility of the Cruise Staff. We worked in a multi-cultural environment it was a must be able to adjust to changes in schedules, assignments and deadlines.
As a Manager I was responsible for the day-to-day operations and overall management of the hotel, the property, staff, and commercial accountability for budgeting, accounting, planning, marketing, organizing and directing all hotel services, including front-of-house (reception, concierge, night audit, and reservations), food and beverage operations and housekeeping. Planned ahead and came up with strategies tin order to maximize profits. Focus and attention to detail was key, setting the example for staff to deliver a standard of service and presentation that met Villa Dos Graffitis Hospitality standards, Mission, and Vision, as well as guests' needs and expectations.
