  • Establish the necessary step by step procedures to reduce duplication of effort and improve the SARSS and Administration areas.
  • Performs the duties of the Chief, Supply Division as required.
  • Provide a customer friendly based service, accurate and timely data, reports, and easily accessible work order history files.

  • Daily utilize Microsoft Office Programs and PDF files in performance of duties.
  • Provide management over sight of all areas of SARSS related functions and documentation of all processes performed by the Supply Division personnel in processing products throughout Logistical Systems.
  • Plans, directs and coordinates the daily activities of the Supply Division.
  • Ensures quality control of the division's performance through observation of daily operations, statistical review, analysis of supply and service performance data, records and reports.
  • Determines if program requirements and objectives are being met in the most efficient and economical manner and initiates process improvement changes in operations, as required to correct deficiencies.
  • Perform duties related to the preparation of Supply Discrepancy Report (SDR/WEBSDR)/Transportation Discrepancy Report (TDR)/Report of Discrepancy (ROD) and Inventory Adjustment Report (IAR); Denials and Action Coordinator.
  • Responsible for conducting/posting inventories and adjustments to keep the accountable records up to date.
  • Conducts thorough research for all inventory discrepancies.
  • Perform location surveys and handle materials coordination such as condition code change (CLOC) and maintenance location change (MLOC).
  • Reviews and interprets regulations, directives, program documents, and guidance identifying operational requirements and implements policies and procedures as directed by Department of the Army (DA) and Army Sustainment Command (ASC).
  • Assist Project Manager (PM) and Government staff with developing programs for continuous improvement and life cycle reduction costs.
  • Assists in developing long and short range plans and operating procedures in support of supply and services missions and programs.
  • Regularly interact with management on matters concerning functional areas, and/or customers to prevent erroneous decisions as failure to achieve results may cause delays in schedules.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of Automated Information Systems (AIS), logistics databases applicable to the Division, i.e., Standard Army Retail Supply System (SARSS), Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP), Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW), Integrated Logistics Analysis Program (ILAP), Parts Tracker, Web Visual Logistics Information Processing System (WEBVLIPS), Web Logistics Integrated Database (WEBLIDB), Federal Logistics Record (FEDLOG), Intelligent Interactive Logistics (i2log) and The DLA Transaction Services Inquiry System (DAASINQ).
  • Perform duties as the Installation Department of Defense Activity Address Code (DoDAAC) Coordinator.
  • Request new, change and delete DoDAACs; activate and inactivate Forward DoDAACs and NTC DoDAACs and realign REAR DoDAACs.
  • Assist in activating/inactivating Unit Identification Codes (UICs) in Logistics Support Agency (LOGSA).
  • Add and update DoDAACs in SARSS and the Fort Riley SharePoint on a daily basis.
  • Send weekly reports of Fort Riley's DoDAACs to required Installation personnel.
  • Ensures that due-ins from customers (YIC) and due-ins from depot (DFA) are short shipped to keep warehouse replenishment and on hand balance available for supported customers.
  • Directs excess stock or damaged items to DLA Disposition Services (DLADS) or back to depot.
  • Processes due-in from maintenance (D6M) to adjust on hand stock.
  • Temporarily load DoDAACs so the Turn-In section can process (D6As) and take documents out of Litigation if there is a discrepancy.
  • Provide the Logistics Systems team information when a National Stock Number (NSN) is or becoming obsolete (YBH).
  • Responsible for accountability and maintenance of 3 forklifts worth over $300,000.
  • Maintains care and accountability for sections computer systems and equipment worth over $400,000.
  • Responsible for supplies, keys and the Arms Room safe and 7 employees.
  • Provide back-up support to the SARSS1 Supply Support Activity (SSA-AY8) sever and SARSS2A Manager Review File (MRF) and Non-Sufficient Fund Process (NSF).

  • Received requests from G8 Budget representatives to process contracts in Acquiline.
  • Assisted in activating/inactivating Unit Identification Codes (UICs) in Logistics Support Agency (LOGSA) and added and updated DoDAACs in SARSS and the Fort Riley SharePoint on a daily basis and sent a weekly report of Fort Riley's DoDAACs to required Installation personnel.
  • Provided backup assistance for the SARSS section on Signature Cards, Recon, and High Priority Walk-thru's (Hi-Pri's) and assisted with Demilitarization (DEMIL/TULSA) instructions and Found on Installation (FOIs).
  • As a supply technician assisted the Directorate of Logistics (DOL) warehouse with Customer Support, Inventory, items received in Central Receiving Point (CRP) as frustrated shipments, items shipped in the Shipping Section and obtained special packaging instructions.
  • Work/researched the ASL Zero Balance report, Manager Error Listing and coordinated actions with the Item Managers (IM) at Depot level on a weekly basis to correct discrepancies in Supply Support Activity accountable records.
  • Handled the Shelf Life for items on the Authorized Stockage List (ASL) and assisted with receipts (D6S)/Cancellations for G8 Budget to close the financial loop on supply transactions.
  • I have a Secret Clearance for all of the above.
