Summary

End of Life care is something I am passionate about. After 3 years of working in a wonderful, family-based facility, I have taken away many things of wisdom. But the end of life truly teaches you how to live. It teaches you that every day is not a guarantee but a privilege. That those who I've taken care of deserve the utmost respect, dignity, and comfort that my company or I can provide. It's the little things and the extra tasks that make the difference. The one-on-one care and relationship you can build with a person can have an impact on their outlook, health, and quality of life. I'm a Nurse's Aide and Medication aide with talent for understanding and compassion for our elderly. Strong knowledge of end of life care and giving back to those in need. Communicative and team-oriented with proficiency in charting and resident care. Proven history of fostering organization, training, and efficiency to meet team, individual and management objectives. My skills have been well rounded throughout my time at Oxbow and my upbringing with taking care of others in the best way! I look forward to expanding my knowledge and quality of care.

Stay at Home Mom Self City, STATE,

I find that what I lack in previous job experience doesn't affect but promote my current love of taking care of people. I am the oldest of four siblings and therefore, taking care of others has been my lifelong task. If it was not taking care of my younger siblings, my mother ran a daycare out of our family home and still does to this day. For my whole life I have assisted her with taking care of children until I had my own children. Prior to my time at Oxbow Assisted Living Center, I was a stay at home mom. Where it came with challenges, the reward of taking care of someone else's needs far outweighed what I ever could have imagined. I learned a lot about myself and my true passion for taking care of other people. Thus I found myself at home away from home at Oxbow, where I have built lasting relationships and learned so much about Resident cares, quality of life, and an outlook on end of life that will have a lifetime affect on who I am on a day to day basis.
