I am an independent, confident, educated, self-motivated medical student with proven and tested Communication, organizational, sales, and marketing skills. I can communicate and conduct conversations in person and online through email, or the phone with clarity and enthusiasm. I have worked at two pizza places for about two years and gained a lot of skills from both of these jobs, which I can take into any new experiences that I take on. Working with kids for four years every summer helped me to communicate with younger and older people due to the fact that I was working with kids and adults. My skills from these job experiences include; Communication skills, organization skills, money marketing skills, computer technology skills ( in both the food industry and office place), being active while working with kids, being ability to pick up things quickly, ability to work in a fast-pace environment, and having great customer service skills.
Job duties include; Greeting customers, answering questions, offering assistance, suggesting items, lending opinions and providing product information. Demonstrating great customer service and selling skills, Learning and understanding the menu, organization of drinks and snacks, Processing payments by totaling purchases, processing cash, credit cards, and gift cards, Offering additional services such as beverages to keep them occupied while waiting.

I also organized ice cream in the fridge and helped make salads, filling and rotating the dressings everyday and packaged foods and dressings using the slips with orders on them.
Job duties include; Greeting campers and their parents, playing with the campers, feeding the campers watching the campers during the day at the Community Center and on felid trips around Boston area, I also working alongside my boss organizing paperwork, working with her on the computer, answering the phone, and taking messages for her whenever she was busy or out of the office.
While in High-school I was a cheerleader for 3 years on my varsity cheer team and competed with my teammates and other teams across the Country. In school I also took Spanish for four years I am not fluent in the language, however, I can understand a lot of the language in the reading, speaking, and writing departments. This is an amazing asset to have because there is always a need for bilingual workers all over. I also took a Courageous Conversations class my senior year, which we spoke about the inequalities in our school and community and focused on making a change, we did this by going to the lower grades classes to explain what we do and how they can help. This experience was amazing to be a part of because it helped me to see things from minorities perspectives and always makes me want to stand up for people that don't have that big of a voice or for the people that just cannot speak up for themselves.
Working at Pat's Pizza for so long I gained a lot of experience so when we did have new employees that happened to be cashiers as well I would help a lot with training them and working with them to get them to the comfort level that I was at.
A list of personal achievements that I have gained are; being picked to work the day before Christmas with other experienced older workers at Pat's Pizza during the busiest holiday. There have been a lot of problems that I have identified and solved working at both of the Pizza places and the summer camp, weather it be a customer complaint or a child getting hurt while playing or not bringing money for a field trip. Working at the summer camp for so long there were a lot of ideas that I had created and shared with the staff to make the camp a better place, like having more than one councilor in the pool with the kids, activities to do in the classroom when it would rain, and also safe games to play in the classroom when it would rain. I have saved a lot of money for Pat's Pizza after being employed for so long due to the fact that I was no loner making mistakes and also with training new cashiers I would help them to memorize things quicker so that they would not make the same mistakes I did when I first started working there, this also goes a long with saving the Pizza place time because with less and less mistakes being made they would not have to remake food over and over.
