Responsible for handling all types of in-bound phone calls, emails, web-based requests, faxes and other forms of requests for behavioral health information or services from patients and outside entities.
Conducts initial screening and intake assessments of patient or families Ensures professionalism in dealing with all callers Screens and manages behavioral health crisis calls Triages appropriate referrals within the Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health System. Makes appropriate referrals to non-Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health entities when appropriate. Arranges appointments using criteria to establish clinical urgency and specialty as well as payer specific requirements. Ensures confidentiality of all information pertaining to patient services rendered. Utilizes exceptional customer service skills to enhance the delivery of high quality, person oriented services to all patients and referral sources.
