For example, if you are interviewing for a customer service job and have stellar, noteworthy accomplishments under your belt from a current or previous customer service job, talk about those accomplishments if asked why you are a good fit for the position. Another example: If the job calls for a candidate to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as time management and cross-collaboration skills -- and you possess all of these skills -- talk about all four skills, and provide examples of experiences where you employed the skills to great success.
Speak with confidence -- but not arrogance -- when responding to the question "Why are you a good fit for the position?" As previously stated, you should prepare an answer to this question in advance of any job interview. Rehearse your response, and ask a friend or family member for feedback on the delivery of your answer.
