This business meeting is to determine if there's a fit on both sides. You will be evaluating the company just as they will evaluate you.
Another great option for reducing anxiety before an interview is to interview for more than one company at a time. This is the issue. Many people interview for one job at a time. For each job interview, it feels like there is so much weight on the outcome. But, if you are interviewing for more than one job at a time, the outcome of any one interview matters less.
You can also do many things to help your anxiety, including listening to music. I often recommend creating a playlist that you listen to before each interview, much like a workout playlist. Working out and running are also very helpful. Talking to friends or writing your thoughts down can be helpful too. And, preparing for the interview in advance can help to calm your nerves.
If none of these methods seem to help, be sure to reach out to a counselor or therapist in your area who can help you come up with strategies tailored to you.
