A good interviewer shows curiosity. Many of the questions get asked during every interview, which can make the process boring for the recruiter. After all, he or she hears similar answers to questions over and over again. However, showing curiosity and inquisitiveness allows the candidate to engage more in the process.
A good interviewer remains level-headed. An interviewer has to prepare for the meeting just like you. He or she may come up with a list of questions. However, this person has to be willing to reorder the questions and scrap redundant ones based on your unique answers.
A good interviewer listens. While it may seem obvious, a successful recruiter has to listen to what you're saying. This will help him or her figure out if you're a good fit for the job.
