Start your day off right. You can do several things to get your day off to a good start. Eat a good breakfast before heading to your morning meeting. Take a walk outside to clear your head. Listen to music on the drive to the office. Make a real effort to be happy by smiling even before you get to your destination.
Practice for the interview. Doing a practice run of the interview with a friend can help you feel less nervous on the big day. You can go through commonly asked questions, but you can also pick out an outfit, practice shaking hands, and think about your body language.
Prepare a few questions of your own. Most interviews end with the recruiter asking you if you have questions. Rather than staring blankly ahead, you can fire off some well-thought out inquiries about the position, the company culture, and the industry.
