The first thing you should do prepare for the interview is a little introspection. Think about your skills, your abilities, and what you bring to the table that no other candidate can. Take the time to think through your work history so it is all straight in your head. Pick out specific instances where you had your abilities put to the test and you succeeded. You can use these stories to provide examples of your skills.
Additionally, you should research the common interview questions for your chosen field. You can actually anticipate what kinds of questions you may hear, so you can already know the answer. In addition to knowing common questions, you should know your own resume inside and out, so you can answer questions about the information on it.
