Focus on the abilities you want to point out for this job. If you the job description emphasized that the company wants team experience, choose an achievement where you lead your team to accomplish a goal.
Succinctly explain the goal, the problem that stood in the way, and the strategy and skills you chose to overcome it. For bonus points, explain what you learned from your accomplishment. Hiring managers love to hear that you're constantly reviewing your experiences for valuable information.
Avoid mistakes such as making up a fake story or exaggerating a real one. The interviewer may follow up with your previous employer or spot inconsistencies in the story. You also shouldn't allow your humility to undercut your achievement by using overly modest speech. Describe the accomplishment matter-of-factly, as objective language often feels less like bragging.
