This letter is in regards to the training internship you started on January 24th in the advertising department of KCTY-TV. While you were scheduled to remain with us until May 23rd, management has decided to end your training internship at the station effective immediately.
As was unexplained to you during your orientation, your duties were to include tracking advertising revenue and interacting with potential advertisers. However, you have consistently been negligent in your duties. Your revenue reports, when submitted, often proved to be inaccurate when verified. Additionally, you failed to show up for your scheduled hours on several occasions. You also missed all of your required training meetings.
I hope you are in agreement with our decision. A copy of this letter has been sent to school officials to inform them of your termination from our training internship program. I will also need you to sign the attached form and return it to me in the provided envelope.
