§ Responsible for validation and documentation evidence sighted of all actions taken to close out any audit related issues identified in all businesses across SSA.
§ Supported the Internal Controls Leader to create a consolidated metrics standard for SSA business operations and obtain sign off from the SSA Controller and CFO.
Financial Planning and Weekly Estimate Pacing for the PGS business:
§ Prepared weekly pacing reports to drive visibility of SSA’s financial estimates
§ Weekly variance report and communicate drivers to relevant stakeholders
§ Ensure HQ pacing file is updated to reflect SSA weekly estimates and changes
§ Supported the team in preparation for all Ops Review cycles
§ Supported the Finance Manager with monthly P&L reviews
§ Drove visibility and accessibility of relevant information to assist the external auditors with the Nigeria and SA audits
Budget and Sales:
§ Update store sales reports for each brand (Clinique, Estee Lauder, Bobbi Brown, Lamer, Aramis & Designer Fragrances etc.)
§ Recording actual and budgeted figures
§ Gain basic understanding of variance reporting
Debtors:
§ Updating payments on customer accounts
§ Recording salary deductions and transfer total payment received to the bank account.
§ Recording credit notes received to ensure refunds are paid back for goods received.
Cash Book:
§ Capture of invoices (employees travel and accommodation spending) for payments
§ Reconcile employees spending accounts and confirm that all proof of spending (receipts) correspond with the amount claimed.
Procurement:
§ Understand concept of purchasing, including new vendor applications
§ Preparation of on-line purchase order reports, understanding and communication thereof
