  • Implemented a strategic pricing process and organization, which is on track to deliver $10M in 18 months.
  • Oversaw successful implementation of SAP across the business unit. Led Sales, Marketing, Technical Services and Product Managers in oils and shortenings ingredient business serving the CPG industry. Responsible for overall P&L. Innovation Lead for an 1,100 employee Business Unit.
  • Initiated and led a$100M green field project to build the largest, state of the art, canola oil refinery in North America. Commissioned plant within 30 days of original start date and within budget.
  • Grew market share by 5% by increasing the use of marketing tools, increasing the rigor around account planning, improving the new business development process, and upgrading the talent of account managers.
  • Led investments in new technologies to create new products and improve processing efficiencies, resulting in a combined $7M in annual costs savings and incremental revenue.
  • Developed and implemented sustainable, traceable, and non GMO supply chains for soy and palm oils. NC Oversight of Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain activities for four production sites.
  • Increased asset utilization 14% by aggressively pursuing new product sales, eliminating difficult to make and low profitability products, and improving maintenance and reliability practices.
  • Restructured the specialty flake business by purchasing new production technology, closing one facility, and consolidating all manufacturing into one site. Increasing earnings by $2.6M annually.
  • Improved P&L by $5.3 million. Managed a $390 million corn sweeteners plant with 325 unionized employees.
  • Improved employee engagement 18% by restructuring the leadership team, creating a leadership contract, and focusing on skill development of front line supervisors.
  • Managed annual capital budget ranging from $12-14 million. Approved project budgets, staffing requirements, implementation timelines, and investment returns.
  • Set production records in multiple departments, increasing productivity by 3-7%.
  • Implemented Behavior Based Safety. Achieved 4 million man hours without a Lost Time Accident and 405 days without a medical aid.
  • Partnered with the Memphis Grizzlies and the Lichterman Nature Center to create nutrition and science education programs to benefit inner city youth. Blair, NE Managed trading, sales, operations, supply chain and customer service for a predominantly export oriented product line with four manufacturing plants.
  • Attained import market share in Turkey of 90% by creating a local warehousing and distribution program. Improved market shares in Tunisia, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, and the UAE.
