After I compare the data to our training plans, I submit requests for changes from headquarters during financial review.
*I review time inputs and compare them to salary reports and ensure that issues are addressed and corrected by management.
*I complete the leave approval process for our operation each quarter . I ensure all employee requests have been input correctly so that they will feed into the database and be processed. I determine the required amount of staffing on any given day and if we can approve all leave requests or if we will have to deny request due to staffing requirements. I provide this information to the operation manager. I analyze leave reports to determine if we need to highlight days or deny additional leave requests and provide this information to management.
*I input employee tour of duty, grade, and position changes into our operation database. I coordinate with managers in our operation to determine if employees can change shifts, number of hours, etc. based on our funding goals. This database is linked to various excel staffing reports, an employee map, and other databases. I troubleshoot any issues or problems and update the information as soon as it is known so all reports and files are accurate and up to date.
*I review and analyze staffing and salary reports. I found a lot of reports that were not being utilized correctly and that were un-necessary. I determined that we could eliminate these reports and combine three of our salary reports into one for comparison. I created this Excel comparison file along with tools to pull the data from the 3 reports. This eliminated the extra reports and shows a more accurate picture of salary vs. hours in one complete file. The report is utilized by all Operations in Campus Compliance Services.
