Explorer Border Patrol incharge Border Patrol Explores City, STATE,

Duties, Accomplishments and Related Skills:
In July of 2012, I was selected to serve as an Explorer for the Border Patrol Station Explorer
program. As an Explorer we are provided training that consists of physical training and classroom study of law enforcement and Border Patrol regulations.
The Explorer program is part of the Learning for Life program sponsored by the Boy Scouts of America. It has allowed me to work directly with my peers, learning the protocols of the Border
Patrol and allowing us to gain field experience. It has allowed me to prepare myself to successfully handle the complexities of contemporary society and to enhance my self-
confidence, motivation and esteem.
In the years following I rose through the ranks and in July 1st of 2015, I was promoted to Patrol
Explorer In Charge (PEIC). This position requires a high level of professionalism and also entails for me to be social, congenial, and willing to speak in public. In order to qualify for this
position I had to be familiar with all training standards, law enforcement regulations and policies of the program. As the PEIC I directly supervise two Supervisors and 13 Explorers, I am
responsible for overall operation of the post, planning, and conducting all meetings. Undoubtedly
these responsibilities are not limited to just one day and I have to commit several hours per week for a successful Explorer Program.
In June 4th 2016, I rose the last rank you could get as a Border Patrol Explorer witch is Advisors
Associate. My responsibilities are to help my fellow explorers in mostly anything they need which could consider handcuffing, BP stops, and physical training Etc. It's almost the same as
Border Patrol In Charge but with more responsibilities I am consider more like a teacher helping
them in anything that has to do with law enforcement.
