To Whom it may concern,
After leaving Dillman Foods, i pursued my dreams and started my career in the working field for my family. I have accomplished everything that i went after. I recently retired from the Butler County Sheriff;s Office as a Deputy Sheriff. I first started as a dispatcher and was promoted to Deputy Sheriff for the road position until retirement. Shortly after retirement I went back as an SRO(school resource officer) for 2 years. I am currently employed part-time with the Madison Twp. Fire & EMS as a , Deputy Chief/EMT. I am in charge of my station and assist the Fire Chief on purchases with equipment, and other items for the department. I am also in charge of fire training's, and still maintaining my EMT certification while working on the medic unit.
Working for Dillman Foods during High School and after graduation i started as a bagger, and was then trained in all departments with the exception of the meat dept. Working as a cashier, stock crew, deli, bakery, frozen foods, dairy, and beer & wine, and produce. I enjoyed working in the grocery business and learned a lot. I used to enjoy building displays, and being creative. The store manager was able to give me the opportunity to train an work in all of the departments, filling in where I was needed. Dillman Foods had 4 stores where i also worked at 3 of them when they were short staffed. I was assigned to the store on Roosevelt Blvd Middletown, Ohio. During my final years at my full time employment, I always said that i would like to go back in, and work in a grocery store.
I am submitting this resume for a chance to work part-time for your company. I feel that i can offer some experience(with a little bit of re-train of course) and i have excellent people skills to bring with me. I have 2 kids that are grown, and 2 grandchildren. I currently work part-time during a few nights of the week and available during day shifts.
Thank you for the opportunity in submitting this application. If you require anything further, please let me know.
