  • Originally responsible for the development, and testing of new screens and transactions to enhance the functionality and usability of the GS/2000 media fulfillment system using COBOL.
  • Traveled to the customer site in upstate New York a number of times to gather requirements and conduct on-site user training classes.
  • Promoted to Production Support Team Leader over a team of seven programmers, four of which were at the customer site in Carmel, New York. This team was responsible for researching and resolving any problems that arose in the production environment on a daily basis and for making all online and batch non-development changes.
  • We also took responsibility for a number of the development tasks of shorter duration.
  • As the customer pared-down the size of their support team, I became the single remaining production support programmer for the customer.
  • I worked very closely with the customer on a daily basis, researching issues, providing detailed explanations, and correcting data and logic problems.
