I am currently a communications major enrolled in both community colleges and planned to transfer to a University in Fall 2020. I will be studying communications, as well as digital media and broadcast journalism.
By embodying one of the Disney's beloved characters, I must create magical moment for our guests, I adopt the attitude of my different characters in every respect and reach out to greet individuals of all ages throughout the Resort. With making playful interactions with Guests offers them an unforgettable moment with one of their favorite Disney Characters. This position requires extensive entry and enthusiasm as well as acting and people skills to keep the magic alive for everyone who visits Disneyland.
My job responsibilities were maintaining an efficient system throughout our store, and of course making a customizable sandwich that each customer can enjoy to their liking. Not only did I have to remember the whole menu, I had to know how to slice the meat, cook the hot subs, and maintain cleanliness in all sections of the store that had a functionality. It was my job to engage with the customer and have superb customer service which means attentiveness and making sure the customer is satisfied.
My job responsibilities included making sure each section of the store was tidy and in an organized fashion. I had to relay efficient and effective customer service to our customers and fend to their needs. If there were any issues, I would confirm with my manager that I was able to take action towards that certain situations and take forth the safest and most effective decision.
Some of my job responsibilities consisted of providing informative feedback to help a decision, efficient use of time management amongst maintenance throughout the store, being quickly responsive to any orders that are given, and maintaining enthusiasm to customers that are visiting for their first time or even 1000th time to make their experience satisfactory and enjoyable to the best of my ability.
One Hit Wonder award- Given that joined ASB only during senior year, with a Class Vice President position, I feel that it required ample energy and motivation to have a successful year. I let the previous class and my partner, whom I was alongside presidency for our class, mentor me and allowed myself to ingest any knowledge that was given to reciprocate into making the most effective decisions. I dedicated ample time, both side and outside of school, because I had numerous tasks to fulfill throughout the year.
Student of the Month- Throughout each semester I was monitored and if I performed well in a class was recognized for actions that may stand out from habitual procedures. I would always come in class during lunch when I needed extra help on a subject which showed my teacher that I cared about being successful and actually comprehending the material presented in that class. I would further help those around me when needed which helps build efficient team work for the entirety of the class.

I was Senior Class Vice President of Burbank High School in 2018. Having this role has taught me many facets in life that will help achieve goals and have ambitions. In the view amongst my fellow students, it was my job to build a positive and constructive image to rely on future classes to make their last year(s) in High School positively effective and memorable. Having that duty among my peers allowed me to make decisions that would positively reciprocate into making our student community.
BHS TV Production
From 10th through 12th grade, I was one of the leading anchors in my school broadcast journalism program where I gained knowledge of the many facets that are needed to construct a well-rounded broadcast for audience members to view both in front of and behind the camera. We would film every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with a team of individuals to manage and control the different machinery, editing and sound systems, even lighting. I also did separate projects outside of the studio which included interviews as well!
The American Red Cross
I helped assist with recruitment of potential blood donors to ensure an adequate blood supply for patients in need. I've worked at numerous blood drives to meet and greet donors and register them. In addition, I've also helped out in the canteen area to ensure donors,post-donation, sufficient health condition and stability. I've also gotten the opportunity to meet many patients that have had or needed blood assistance which opened a new door of appreciation I have towards blood donors.
