Hello my name is Jessica Claire, I curretly live in Wolcott CT. I started working at St Marys hospital while attending Mattatuck Community College studying criminal justice. When I graduated from Mattatuck Community College I continued my education at Post college. During this time I had taken the Departmnt of Corrections exam and was notifed that i was being hired as Corrections Officer starting January 1994. I completed my training at the Deparment of Corections acadamy and was assigned to Garner Correctional in Newtown CT. During my time at Garner I worked with diiferent types of inmates including gang member imates ,mental health inmates,general population inmates. Received various training fom the department.Worked directly with inmate population. While working for Corrections I also workd part time at Mcallen Construction. When I retired in May of 2014, I contined working for McAllen Construction in a full time capacity, working my way up from a laborer to CDL truck driver to a lead person who was given the oppurtunity to be put in charge of various jobs and tasks to be completed. McAllen construction specializes in utility construction, dealing with may types of excavation and utility companys. I have over 20 years experince in Security and Corrections, and another 15 years in construction. I have been certified in First Aid/Cpr, state of ct guard class, state of ct blue card. I am a hard worker dedicated to doing my jof to the fullest. Enthusiastic person and worker eager to contribute to team success through hard work, attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Clear understanding to learn.
