Soft skills are non-technical skills that are highly sought by employers. Many of the most desired soft skills, like communication, teamwork, leadership, and even personal traits like kindness and flexibility, involve working effectively with other people.
You will notice that every job description contains many soft skills. They appear in the job requirements or job functions section, and should be added to your resume.
