Bachelors of Education from University of Oregon in Family and Human services and Special education. I have a significant amount work experience working with children in different settings. I am hard working and have a passion in working with children.

Ensuring child safety, working with child on developmental skills, engaging in positive play skills with child, preparing meals, enforcing family routines for child (bath time, meal clean up, etc.), help dress and bathe child before school, homework assistance, some overnight experience with child. I also cared for the families two dogs.
Working with children with Autism. Facilitating small group activities, collaborating with other adults/professionals about students, student assessment and clinical observation, problem solving, preparing snack for students, following and implementing classroom curriculum.
Worked one on one with student with autism (later nannied for same child) in a preschool center. Helped enforce snack, bathroom and outside routines. Ensured safety and helped child follow childcare rules.

Often times I would take the students out into the hallway and work with them on reading, math, and writing activities one on one or in a small group. I would also assist the teacher by grading homework assignments and preparing and setting up for the next activity.
Responsible for leading sports activities along with arts and crafts, and other recreational games with children ages 4 to 12. I would help serve lunch to the children at the club restaurant and swim with the children out at the pool. I was also responsible for belaying the children at the rock wall and transporting the children from one area of the club. Myself and the other counselors were responsible for respecting the club rules and making sure the campers respected those rules as well.
I would assist the head day care instructor during the summer at a nearby daycare. I would help lead activities, prepare and serve lunch and snacks, and help transition the children by foot from the daycare to a nearby park or school.
