I've always been a very sociable individual, and am skilled at operating in fast-paced environments, I work very well under pressure, and learn very quickly. Since working at Monnik, i have achieved many goals, not only in the workplace; but in my personal life as well, I've moved my way through every section of the restaurant, from FOH where I started all the way back to brewery and back again, which has given me a unique perspective and a large amount of knowledge of the restaurant itself, seeing not only the intricacies of how work is done in those areas, but also the problems and hardships those groups face. my hope for the future, is that i work my way up even further, not only improving upon the skills i have now, but gaining new ones.
As stated earlier, I've made many improvements and gained many skills over the past four years of working here; Since starting, I've become a much better worker, I've always had a strong work ethic and sense of accountability, and when I started here that only increased, I had never worked in a Front of House setting before, so it all felt new and exciting, it became a source of passion for me almost immediately, seeing people leave the restaurant happy, and being able to discuss options for improving not only the food or drinks, but also the experience of the customers has always been a enjoyable experience. Since starting at Monnik I've always had to hold myself to a higher standard, not only because I'm younger than most, but also because it mattered to me and it still does, and while at first it was exhausting to always be telling myself to improve, over time it became a passion and to this day I am always open to any and all forms of criticism, I want to expand, and improve always, I became a server after being a host for years, I graduated High school working here, I've improved myself in almost every way, so I feel this is the logical next step. If I were to get this position, I would not only continue to hold myself to a higher standard, but I would take it even farther, looking to improve every minute of not only my work experience but my colleagues as well.
