I am CPR certified and know basic first aid in case of emergency.
I also am a licensed driver with my own vehicle in case of an emergency that requires that I drive the child somewhere.
I am a Human Development major so studying children and working with them is what I hope to make a career out of one day!
Accomplishments
I also used to be an art teacher for children for the entire summer last year. This included creating a simple painting for kids to be able to follow me step by step to complete their own. It was a lot of fun and a great way for kids to express some of their creativity! My class was full each time and I had many returning children you loved the class!

I have been the babysitter for an infant child for the past 6 months with a family I also met through Care.com. I started babysitting for them when the child was 6 months old and have been taking care of her since! She is now 11-12 months old and is a joy to be with.
This job included bottle feedings as well as switching to solid food feeding once she got older. I am experienced with diaper changing, she would go through many during one sitting! I also helped in any wy I could with her cognitive development and physical development keeping her busy with games and assisting her in learning to walk.

My last consistent babysitting job I also met through Care.com and have been their babysitting for the past 6 to 7 months for their 8-year-old boy.
This job including pick ups and drops offs from school as well as to friends houses. I also would assist the family in watching the boy while the parents worked at a night street festival they ran, so my responsibility was to take him to the festival and then return him home and put him to bed before the parents came home. As well as normal sitting jobs where we would play and finish homework.

This job required me to complete pick ups and drops off for school and friends, as well as keeping them entertained with arts and craft activities until their parents arrived home. We also spent a lot of time at the pool and doing outside activities.
