Once you apply for the position through their ATS, you will create a login and password where you can return to check on the status of your submission. If your application is in the system, it might say that it is in process. Once it is approved, or if there is a change in status with your record, you will be updated accordingly. If you continue to check and don’t see a change in the status, follow up with a phone call. If possible, get the name of a contact to learn more about your application. It can take some time to go through this process. Good follow-up skills will certainly help to keep you informed.
Also, know this: When you apply for a job at a business as big as Lowe’s, you’ll typically receive an email confirming that your application materials have been received. This email should provide information on what comes next, and in what sort of timeframe.
