• On a separate page titled, "References" or "Reference List"
• Reference's first and last name
• Their title
• Company name
• Phone number
• Email address
• How you're connected (Former supervisor, co-worker, etc.)
Make sure you choose your references carefully. Former supervisors, clients, peers, and business acquaintances are good options as are teachers, professors, and mentors if your new to the work force. You should always ask permission to list someone as a reference as a courtesy and to ensure their reference is a positive one. Let your references know when you've submitted the resume, so they are aware employers may contact them soon and so they can prepare.
Finally, always remember to thank your references. LiveCareer offers great advice on compiling and maintaining your reference list, as well.
