Writing A Medical Equipment Technician Recommendation Letter

Want to use this letter?

People often forget when it comes to the recommendation letter that each paragraph, like the resume, has a specific purpose and function. Employers have specific things that they want to learn about potential employees, and the medical equipment technician recommendation letter is one of the best ways for them to find out. The first step is making sure you understand those requirements and what is expected of you.

Felicity Weeks,

I am writing this letter to recommend Kenley Stimson for the position of medical equipment technician at your institution. Kenley worked for me as an equipment technician at my medical institution for over five years, and he was one the most diversely knowledgeable and capable technicians I ever had. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of technical issues and is a very hard worker, so I’m sure he’ll fit in great at your institution.

Kenley worked with various different pieces of medical equipment at our offices, including defibrillators, X-Ray and CAT scan machines, wheelchairs, eye equipment, and more. He conducted testing, calibration, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on these units daily. With a wide range of equipment it was a tough task, but he was always able to find the problem.

I’ve never met anybody who understands the technicalities of medical equipment better, so couple that with his diligent work ethic and friendly disposition and he was one of my favorite employees. He comes with my highest recommendation.

Sincerely,

Alicia Janson
