I've volunteered at numerous events for my robotics team in highschool, as well as volunteering at my local rehab center. I have years worth of experience talking to people with care, as well as being in situations that require teamwork and problem solving, promoting innovation and strategy. Due to these volunteering backgrounds, I have learned to speak with confidence and fluidity, as well as learning to improve my patience.
During my time volunteering at the rehab center, I was charged with hosting the Bingo nights every Wednesday, helping residents walk or wheeling them, delivering mail, food, and other items to residents, as well as helping preparation of said items and other organized events at the center.
Through various events hosted by my robotics team in highschool, I learned to comfortably talk to those with special needs, through my involvement in the Special Olympics. I've gained experience with customers through events such as the AppleBee's Fundraiser, as well as organizing charity events such as the Basilone Parade. Through robotics and varsity robotics, I've learned to fully operate within a team setting, being able to involve myself and contribute innovative ideas.
Finally, as an Assistant Instructor at Prince Martial Arts, I learned occupational skills such as talking with customers in person and over the phone, and as well as some teacher assistant skills in working with children. I was also tasked with judging events and overall contributing to the success of Prince Martial Arts.
