  • Managed the Health, Safety, and Environmental Program for a +400 employee site.
  • Managed our BOS & OGC Safety Culture Programs: This included daily reviews of results, ensuring 100% participation, utilizing action plans to address areas of concern, and implementing employee generated ideas to bolster our safety system.
  • Responsible for designing and administering annual safety trainings, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining an accurate record-keeping system.
  • Responsible for our Safety Budget and the requisition of all safety-related materials. This included maintaining a healthy inventory of consumables, negotiating contracts to cut costs, and researching new solutions to improve the operating safety, quality, ergonomics, and cost of our site.
  • Designed and implemented a daily safety audit program that was executed by a technician, a manager, and myself. We inspected a different small section of the site in detail each day, and the inspection team owned the action plans to remedy any defects that were discovered.
  • Designed and implemented the safety policy and procedures for the rollout of the first Automated Guided Vehicles for material handling on the site.
  • Managed the ergonomic program to include assessing and identifying areas of opportunity and implementing new work practices or equipment to eliminate risk
  • Managed Covid-19 pandemic response and developed proper policies, procedures and procured needed safety engineering controls to prevent spread throughout the company site
  • Successful in maintaining proper safety protocols for staff to ensure no production loss due to staffing during the height of the pandemic in March 2020. Worked 41 consecutive 14 hour shifts as an operator to help keep our lines running when quarantine durations reduced our staffing to a skeleton crew..

  • Designed and implemented AM, PM, and CIL policies and procedures for each piece of equipment on Line 40.
  • Identified, Designed, and Installed all necessary safety and mechanical guarding for Line 40.
  • My team released Line 40 for production 5 weeks ahead of schedule with zero safety incidents and set the record for a new line start-up in P&G History. Two weeks after production began Line 40 set another record for being the fastest start-up line to run 24 hours with zero unplanned down time, and when I left the company Line 40 was still the highest process reliability line in P&G North America.

  • Designed the original 5S system for Line 50 Converter, my design was accepted as the Site Standard and then reapplied across all of converting.
  • Performed safety and quality checks on all raw materials prior to entering equipment. Responsible for all safety and quality checks of finished products prior to distribution and packing.
  • Qualified LPD subject matter expert and lead tuning technician for all pumps and flowmeters. Qualified in rebuilding the 4 brands of pumps we used on site.
  • Responsible for training all new LPD operators on safety, quality and function of equipment.
  • Lead technician for process improvement project to reduce aeration in equipment responsible for mixing product.
  • Set the company record for lowest unplanned downtime on Line 50 converter, and operated the converting machinery with the highest process reliability in Global P & G for a 6 month period.
