Experience
Skiffman, 06/2015 - 07/2015
Department Of Defense , , I got this job through Chris Johnson after I quit his boat.  Mike wasn't totally confident with what he was doing and that made me feel unsafe and that I was wasting my time. I decided to finish the season until we broke down in Alitak and he told us we couldn't fish anymore.  At that point I call Ann McWethy and ask for a job.  On the drive back to town Mike said that he found someone to fix the generator, I told him I had a job lined up and would give him 2 weeks to find someone else.  He agreed to pay me my full share and found a guy right away.
Deckhand, 02/2014 - 02/2014
Department Of Defense Texarkana, TX,

This was my first fishing job with Derrick.  I quit because he drove the boat into the harbor after catching 23 cod in our second trip.

Deckhand, 08/2015 - 11/2015
Centerline Logistics , , I started working as a deckhand and I learned how to run hydros to bring the net up or down.  I did it by myself the last two three trips since we had to let go of half the crew.  I finished and fulfilled my contract.
Deckhand/Skiffman, 08/2015 - 08/2015
Centerline Logistics , , Even though since I met Brian McWethy I looked up to him and admire how good of a fisherman he is, there's too much partying and drinking aboard that vessel.  I thought it was cool, but it's very irresponsible and that's not how I want to fish.  He can handle it. I didn't.  I was mainly on deck but we switched positions several times and I stayed on the skiff at the end.
Deckhand, 02/2015 - 02/2015
Centerline Logistics , , Chris Arndt got me this job.  He knew that I want to run a seiner one day and he had really good things to say about Richy, he gave me the option of doing state with him or on the Spartan.  I decided to go because I hate switching boats and I want to be part of an operation that involves salmon.
Deckhand, 2015 - 02/2016
Centerline Logistics , ,

Finished my contract for Federal season.  I mainly did bait but we rotated positions quite often.

Deckhand, 08/2014 - 10/2014
Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. , , First pot cod job.  I started as the bait guy and finished the season running the rail.
Deckhand, 08/2014 - 08/2014
F/V Fiona , , I did one trip to karluk. Loaded in two days and drove back to deliver in town.  I was stacking corks but I was on the skiff all sets plunging.
Skiffman, 04/2014 - 08/2014
F/V North Star , , First seining job.  I started on deck and when the skiffman got fired we went through four or five guys until I told Chris to just give me a try.  I never driven a boat before this, but I paid attention from the deck at what the skiffman was doing.  After one practice set Chris decided to keep me there the rest of the season. I also destroyed 4 props. I was determined to finish the season and at the end I was the only one doing boat work. I painted the whole boat by myself in late September. I cam back for the 2015 season but Chris didn't want to let me go to my dad's promotion to General of the Army in Guatemala.
Logistics officer, 05/2009 - 01/2014
United States Marine Corps , , I was the most decorated Marine out my platoon in boot camp by the time I got out.  I got promoted to Sergeant (E-5) within two and half years of service. I deployed to two different combat zones and I was in charge of sixteen Marines.  The Marine Corps is what thought me discipline and the ability to handle pressure but I didn't agree with most policies and I don't believe in the war going on there so that's why I chose to get out at the end of my contract.
Accomplishments

I've fished in four different fisheries.  I was awarded the Navy achievement medal with combat "V". I'm halfway done with my flight school for PPLH (private pilot license for helicopter) .  I grew up in 5 different countries. I know three different languages.  I'm very culturally diverse.  I get along with all kinds of people. I'm an outstanding cook.
