Work History
02/2010 to Current Retired Self | City, STATE,

My career started in high school in 1978- 2010. I was contacted by Gen-on energy because they heard about me. They wanted me and gave me an offer of a lifetime. One of my many responsibilities was rotating specialist Over my machismo back ground. I diagnosed all rotating equipment and repaired. Which includes small pumps all the way up to turbines on the plant. it was not uncommon to chain hoist motor weighing 300-500 lbs out their locations, 5 stories up. One day I was stepping thru a hand rail and ended up with a herniated disk. My hortation just happen to be on my spinal cord. The doctor said that most people have these and they just let them heal, except when on cord , then they must remove it. It is a minor injury and I had surgery. I woke up from surgery in the morning and drove 200 miles home in the afternoon. I was completely free of pain and was put on 6 weeks rest to heal. About 4 weeks in. The company needed me to JUST supervise a job. But when I got there. It ended up not giving me enough help. I helped and hurt the same place. I had to have another surgery and the doctor hit my nerves that went down my right leg. Creating my leg non functional. I could not walk. I spent the next 3-4 years doing everything I could to rebuild my mobility. I was walking again with in 6 months but still had numbness. Because of all my qualification and strong work history (never not having a job or ever claiming any unemployment etc). SS gave me full retirement because the risk was to high for me to be climbing and lifting heavy equipment , stories up in the air.etc.

'Today i am completely mobile with nothing that would effect the positions I am looking for or any risk of hurting myself. I am a very active man and physically in shape . I am going back to work to help financial with family issues and our new home need repairs. It is an older home and the extra money will help the remodel. I am not looking for a short term position. Part time because that is all SS will let me work.

I built a machine shop in a trailor and towed it to Camarillo CA and started Mobile Machine Services. I started out as just repairs and maintenance in machine shops. 3 months after starting, I rented my first shop. With in 2 years I never advertised again. I grew to a fully equipped machine shop that specialized is engineering and build production equipment for electronic companies like Interlink Electronics. A company I ended up working for after closing my company 10 years after starting it. I had to close to a lengthy divorce battle.

My shop did all machining of anything people brought me. We did maintenance and full restorations on all machine shop equipment

including specializing in pneumatic machines designed for 2nd op processe production lines.
