P astics Injection Molding Technician, you will be able to perform the following duties: Install dies on machine according to work order specifications Assisting in modification of existing procedures Creation of new standardized work procedures Utilizing and understanding all applicable subcomponents of the production order packet Responsible for molding machine set up including ancillary equipment as related to the molding process Follow and document process parameters to ensure repeatable results Performs all the function and responsibilities of a material handler Performs mold changes Use a crane hoist to perform mold changes and maintenance of molding machines Insert changes to molds Process molding parameters to achieve quality parts and optimized cycle times Set up End of Arm tooling for robotic part removal and trimming Use troubleshooting skills to improve and develop repeatable molding processes Address unacceptable reject levels Respond to machine alarms in a timely manner
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. The company operates at least three (3) forlifts for the receiving and shipping of products that come into and are released from the warehouse. Maintenance of these forlilts are performed by our outside vender Action Handling and or on a maintenance contract which includes regular scheduled maintenance. These forlilts are a vital part of the warehouse operation and should be inspected each day so as to keep down time at a minimum.
